” Playful and Educational! Elliot and the Raccoons’ Wild Party is an adventurous tale of a boy who gives chase to mischievous raccoons but soon realizes they’re not to blame for their mess-making behavior. The author subtly teaches young readers that raccoons are creatures worth protecting, and shows what we can do as humans to help the wildlife around us. A perfect balance between playfulness and teaching, this story is a delight to children and parents alike. The coloring pages are a wonderful bonus that helps engage children even more.”

★★★★★ | ” Silly and Sweet! A children’s book featuring some mischievous little characters, is just the thing children can relate to! The illustrations in this book are a perfect match to the innocence of the story, and when their cute friendly faces are caught indulging in the trash bins, my 7 year old laughed out loud, then giggling at every picture. He wondered what would happen in ‘real life’ if raccoons were trapped, which gave us a great opportunity to talk about wildlife encroaching on previously wild lands and how to treat these so-called nuisance animals – with caution and respect. Simple enough for little ones to enjoy, but I love how this book makes a fun and adorable opener to some heavier issues for the older kids too. This would be worthwhile incorporating into a home-schooling lesson!”

★★★★★ | ” Wonderful book for curious kids!My daughter immediately dove into the story joining Elliot in his adventure in the nature. Today as a first choice she took it with her to school to share with the class. My kids have endured months of days at home this year and this book helps them to reconnect with the wildlife.”

Was waiting for sequel of the first book, which my nephew liked, this one he liked even better. Hope there is more to come so I can keep him engaged with nature as part of every day life

This is a charming book cleverly written. The author uses humor to get her point across about how people’s actions can inadvertently facilitate undesirable behavior in animals. As with Elliot and the Osprey Nest (the first book in the series) the illustrations are beautifully drawn, and there are some bonus coloring pages at the end of the book.
