  1. ELLEN EAST

“Elliot and the Osprey Nest” is a wonderful tale of exploration and discovery, seen through the loving eyes of a mother watching her son learn about the natural world around him. Young readers will delight in learning about ospreys and their habitat off the shores of Long Island, and parents everywhere will relate to the pleasure of watching a child explore, learn and grow. The bonus coloring pages will keep children entertained long after they know the story by heart.

This is beautiful! During our walk today (after dinner – it’s becoming something we do with the girls every day)…we saw the most beautiful bird hopping on the ground … orange chest so full of color. I think it was a robin… but my head refuses to memorize names of birds easily. This book would help us ensure that we could at least all learn about ospreys and their behavior for better recognition!! So glad your son helped you write it.

My 9 year old loved it

My son and I enjoyed reading the book together tonight. He laughed multiple times and gladly read the entire book for me so it is a win! We both loved the illustrations as well, I highly recommend!

    Sweet story with subtle lessons!

I love it when stories are fun and also educational, and this book seamlessly merges the two. I usually prefer print books when it comes to children’s stories but I really like how the pages in this ebook have a texture that makes them look like real pages. And the illustrations are beautiful! Both my 7 year old boy and 5 year old girl really enjoyed the story. They asked questions during the book which is always a great sign that their brain is being engaged!

    Enchanting story with charming illustrations

This is a fun yet informative book about a curious little boy who learns about ospreys both from a boat captain as well as from viewing ospreys in a nearby nest over the course of several months. The book is nicely illustrated & there are bonus coloring pages at the end of the book. The book is simply charming!
