Earlier in my tour of Scotland I mentioned how Graeme bought me into work on the back of his motorbike. Unfortunately that time I was in my box so never got to see very much of the scenery. However, Graeme decided that I might enjoy the feel of wind on my whiskers!
Mindful of the fact that there are very strict laws in the UK regarding the wearing of crash helmets, Graeme and Jan went shopping for the appropriate materials in order that I might be appropriately kitted out for life in the fast lane………

The leather jacket isn’t mandatory, but it adds a certain authenticity, don’t you think??
Anyway, here I am with Graeme on the bike:

Now you can see the reason for the red and black crash helmet! And here’s a close up, just in case you thought that was my stunt double:

Behind us is the building where Jan and Graeme work.
Jan had hoped to take me to Hopetoun House at the weekend, unfortunately it rained both days. This was a bit of a shame as Hopetoun is one of Scotland’s great Stately Homes:

Never mind, maybe Darylynn will let me visit Scotland again sometime??
Anyway, Jan tells me I am leaving for South Africa on Monday 13th September, I have been in Scotland 12 whole days already and the time has just flown by. I’ve really enjoyed this little holiday but I’m looking forward to seeing South Africa and apparently Karen can’t wait to meet me!
Before I left Jan made a special ‘going away meal’ of Scottish freshwater salmon, rice and vegetables. Quite a lot of food for such a small mouse!!

Bye bye Dunfermline. I’ve really enjoyed my Scottish adventures, please leave a message and tell me what you think.
