Here I am at one of the most famous places in the world. St Andrews, home of golf. I was so excited, I sat on the fence and had a little tootle on my pipes (they do actually play music if you press the bag in the right place!). Whilst I was still getting my breath Mark took a picture with the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse behind me:

When I had recovered we walked the course, ever mindful of stray golf balls.

As you can see, the course was in really excellent condition. Shame I left my clubs at home!!
Perhaps the most famous bridge in Scotland after the Forth Rail Bridge is the tiny stone bridge over the Swilken Burn at St Andrews Old Course. So we just had to stop there!!
