Rainbow Falls, located in South Colton, NY,
one of the "Five Dams" that were built in the 1950's
along the Racquette river. They were in preparation
for power in conjunction with the St. Lawrence Seaway
Riding on Connie's Lawn Tractor
That's the silly hat she wears to keep dust and dirt out
of her hair. It didn't fit me, but she let me sit beside it.
Retired principal, Connie, sends Elliot to college
Sitting with something Auntie Connie Calls a "Trillium,"
a protected Wildflower in NYS. It's also called a "Stink Pot."
The white ones don't stink, but these guys do. Phew-e-e-e-e-e.
